When may a denture be needed?

Have you lost some of your teeth in an accident or perhaps due to long term damage? A gap-toothed smile can cause functional and aesthetic problems. Having dentures fitted is often the ideal solution.

Our Dentist will perform a detailed assessment of your dental condition considering many factors carefully such as existing teeth, mobile teeth, existing restorations, fillings, the health of the gums and the way the teeth bite together in order to recommend the best solution.

If you have an exiting denture its important to note that the appliance can wear and tear over time. Plus because your jaws and gums change over time, it’s important to get your denture regularly assessed to ensure it properly fits your mouth and does not interfere with the way you chew or with your speech.
